Brand

The Riban collection, designed by Toan Nguyen for Turri, combines contemporary style with craftsmanship. Inspired by the undulating shape of ribbons, the collection features sofas and armchairs with leather structures and fabric cushions. The incorporation of buttons on the backrests adds a contemporary touch to a traditional element. This Italian-produced collection represents Turri’s commitment to international design. The inspiration for the Riban collection stems from the Old French word “ruban,” meaning ribbon. This concept is reflected in the undulating yet structured shapes of the sofa designs. Toan Nguyen’s creative vision translates the graceful curves of a ribbon into furniture pieces. The armchair and sofa structures are upholstered in leather, providing a harmonious contrast to the fabric upholstery of the cushions.

In Riban Sofa, the search for the contemporary is revealed through a play of surfaces, twists, and turns: the outside becomes inside; the backrest becomes a seat; and materials alternate in a way that is as organic as it is logical. The Riban sofa comes with a leather structure. The seat and back cushions are available in contrasting fabric. The button linking the cushions to the structure is a contemporary variant of a traditional decorative element. Available in two, three, or four-seater versions.
