ACRILA is a French design company based in Bordeaux, founded in 2007 by designer Jean-Christophe Bernard and his wife Isabelle Bernard. Acrila presents its work in more than 55 countries around the world. The brand is renowned for its contemporary acrylic furniture that has unique and quirky designs. The designs play with shapes, images, transparency, and light using patterns and imagery with an innovative and contemporary approach. Acrila products include dining chairs, lounge chairs, adjustable stools, console and end tables, and decorative accessories.
HOW IS ACRILA MADE?
Founded by designer Jean-Christophe Bernard, he developed a special printing process, that prints graphic images directly onto the acrylic with an industrial grade printer. Every piece of acrylic furniture is handcrafted with detail and goes through the process of printing, shaping and polishing; and not mass produced.

THE TRANSPARENCY OF GLASS BUT NOT THE FRAGILITY
Acrila furniture is made from high-grade French acrylic glass, the highest quality of Plexiglas. Sturdy and designed for daily use, the furniture pieces have a minimum of 15mm thickness. Product lines with full acrylic legs or metal legs are easily stackable.
Acrila’s high-grade acrylic is guaranteed to stay clear and will not turn yellow, or turn yellow in the sun. It is suitable for outdoor use and is scratch resistant. Most scratches, if it appears during its lifetime on your Acrila product, can be buffed out using car polish and a soft rag.
