The Azul Collection, designed by Paola Navone-OTTO Studio, has transformed the latest collection showcase at Salone del Mobile Milano. The previously cool and intense lapis lazuli blue has given way to warmer and more inviting shades. In this collaboration between Turri and Paola Navone, the selected warm colors draw inspiration from Italian high fashion while reflecting Navone’s contemporary style.
A luxurious gray velvet upholstery graces the sofa, while a delicate powder pink hue adorns the Azul Armchair. This intentional selection caters to modern lifestyles without compromising the traditional aspects of design.
The hand-woven gray velvet on the sofa presents an intriguing visual illusion. What may initially seem like rigid and straight waves are soft and delicate, featuring welcoming and undulating shapes.
The distinctive weaving pattern of the collection is also displayed in the new powder-pink armchair. The natural imperfections inherent in macro weaving further enhance the beauty and uniqueness of both upholstered pieces.
